Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReadyCue at readycue.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the service.

2. Description of Service

ReadyCue is an AI-powered interview coaching platform that helps users prepare for behavioural interviews. Features include an Experience Vault for storing career stories, practice sessions with AI feedback, live interview assistance, and prep tools for upcoming interviews.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use ReadyCue.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
  • Abuse the AI features through excessive requests or prompt injection attacks
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Upload malicious files or harmful content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service's operation or infrastructure

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to ReadyCue, including CVs, career experiences, and interview transcripts. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service — such as AI extraction, scoring, and matching. We do not use your content to train AI models.

6. AI-Generated Content and Disclaimers

ReadyCue uses third-party artificial intelligence models (including services from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Deepgram) to generate coaching feedback, interview answers, talking points, experience summaries, practice scores, and real-time question matching. By using ReadyCue you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI output is suggestive, not authoritative. All AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and guidance only. It does not constitute professional career advice, legal advice, HR advice, or any other form of professional counsel.
  • No guarantee of accuracy. AI models may produce content that is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or inappropriate. Outputs may contain factual errors, fabricated details (“hallucinations”), or biased perspectives.
  • You must verify before use. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and fact-checking any AI-generated content before using it in interviews, applications, or any other professional context. Do not present AI-generated answers as your own without ensuring they accurately reflect your real experiences.
  • No guaranteed outcomes. ReadyCue does not guarantee that using the service will result in successful interview outcomes, job offers, promotions, or any particular career result. Interview performance depends on many factors beyond the scope of this tool.
  • Scores are indicative, not definitive. Practice scores and readiness ratings are generated by AI models and reflect approximate assessments against general best practices. They should not be treated as objective measures of interview ability.
  • Live session features carry additional risk. The real-time question detection and story matching during live interviews depends on audio quality, transcription accuracy, and AI interpretation. These features may miss questions, suggest irrelevant stories, or produce errors under time pressure. You should never rely solely on live assist during an interview.
  • AI behaviour may change. We may update or change the underlying AI models, prompts, or providers at any time. This may result in different outputs for the same inputs, and previously generated content may not be reproducible.
  • Third-party processing. Your content is sent to third-party AI providers for processing. While we select providers with enterprise-grade data handling policies, we are not responsible for the actions or policies of these third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details on sub-processors.
  • No training on your data. We do not use your content to train or fine-tune AI models. However, we cannot guarantee that third-party providers will not change their data handling policies in the future. We will update our Privacy Policy and notify you if any material changes occur.

You assume all risk associated with your use of AI-generated content from ReadyCue. We strongly recommend treating all AI outputs as a starting point for your own preparation, not as a finished product.

7. Subscription and Payments

The service is currently in beta and available free of charge. Future pricing and paid tiers will be communicated to users in advance. We reserve the right to introduce subscription plans at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

The ReadyCue platform, including its design, source code, AI prompts, and branding, is owned by ReadyCue. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of ReadyCue is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

10. Limitation of Liability

ReadyCue is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, we expressly disclaim any warranty or representation that: (a) AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or error-free; (b) the service will meet your specific requirements or expectations; (c) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or secure; or (d) use of the service will lead to any particular interview or career outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReadyCue and its founders, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, reputational harm, or economic loss — arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the service; (b) any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content; (c) any decisions you make based on AI-generated content; or (d) any unauthorised access to your data.

Our maximum aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the total fees you have paid to ReadyCue in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty pounds sterling (£50), whichever is greater.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from your Account settings, which will permanently remove all your data from our systems.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of ReadyCue after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated to you via email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
